The main purpose of Mr. Zarif’s visit to Colombo is to hold talks with Sri Lankan officials.
During the visit, Mr. Zarif and Sri Lankan officials will discuss the ways to develop bilateral ties.
After Sri Lanka, Mr. Zarif is due to pay a visit to Singapore to attend the 51st Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and sign the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation with ASEAN.
